Welcome to the Unity with Nature Committee Resources page!
The Unity with Nature Committee provides a deeply reflective forum for the expression of our spiritual connection with the natural world. We act locally on behalf of Goose Creek Monthly Meeting on projects rising from and supported by the collective spirit of the committee, and we encourage Friends and others to educate themselves and take action concerning the care and restoration of the natural world locally, regionally, nationally, and globally.
Upcoming Programs and Activities
Updates on current programs and activities coming soon.
- Unity With Nature Guided Meditations online the last Thursday of the month, 7:30 – 8:30 pm. These meditations recall us to nature as the abiding and divine joy of Presence within us – a presence that is integral and necessary to our stewardship of the precious and delicately balanced physical nature of the world that surrounds us. To sign up to receive the Zoom link each month or for more information, please contact Liz Huntington: email@example.com or call Liz at 570-955-8927.
- Unity With Nature Writing Workshop online the 2nd Saturday of the month, 9 – 11 am. Each session offers a unique writing prompt related to nature as a multi-dimensional experience of body, mind, and spirit. Time is given for writing, sharing first drafts, and experimenting with collaborative writing projects. Writing prompts are also given to participants to explore between sessions. To sign up to receive the Zoom link each month or for more information, please contact Liz Huntington: firstname.lastname@example.org or call Liz at 570-955-8927.
- The Unity with Nature Committee of Goose Creek meets in a hybrid format (online and at the Meetinghouse) on the third Sunday of the month, from 8:45 AM to 9:25 AM. If you have something you would like to share with others related to Unity with Nature, please contact Patrick Holden or Lisa Payne.
